Have you Heard of Pura Vida Bracelets?
"Pura Vida" in Spanish means "Pure Life" or choosing to live life to the fullest. Link Crew members will be selling blue and gold Pura Vida Bracelets for $5 in the Main Quad on Wednesday and Thursday at nutrition and lunch. Show your school spirit and support the Link Crew program.  


The Journalism Class is holding a scavenger hunt in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day.
It will be held through this Thursday. Make sure you hurry to find lollipops hidden around campus. The first person to bring lollipops to C-7 will win a prize. See flyers around school for more information.

ZIMBE is coming to the AHS PAEC!
On Sunday, March 20th at 4 p.m., Lesley Leighton and the Los Robles Master Chorale will present an exciting world cultures concert, bringing together the Los Robles Master Chorale, Los Robles Children's Choir, and the Choirs of Agoura High School. ZIMBE is a work of South African music telling the stories of the fight for freedom and equality featuring piano, percussion, narrator, multi-media, and voices of all ages. Purchase your tickets through the PAEC: Adults $27.50 | Seniors 60+ $22.50 | Students with valid I.D. $15.

Help Urbane Café in Agoura raise some dough for Grad-Nite.
On Tuesday, March 15th, 
from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., bring this flyer , or show on your smart phone when ordering, and Urbane Café will toss in 20% of the dough!

SERVICE LEARNING
Attention All Students!
Once you have completed your 15 hour per year requirement, you can apply for the SERVICE LEARNING AWARDS for any additional hours. These applications are due in room C-1 by the deadlines set for each grade. If you have any questions, please come to C-1 to talk to Mrs. Diament or Ms. Capretta.

The City of Malibu has a fun event called Easter Hoppening on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Malibu Bluffs Park from 2:00 - 6:00pm. Help is needed with set-up, clean-up, egg hunts, arts and crafts and prize distribution.
 
The Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center needs help with planting a 'native plant garden' on Saturday, March 19, from 9:00 - 11:00am. Additionally, they need help to restore their garden over the next few months. Contact Sara Gabel at  sara_gabel@partner.nps.gov or call 805.370.2319.  

The Dole Great Race needs lots of volunteers to help with this huge event which from Thursday, March 18th- Saturday, March 19.  This is one of the largest running events in the Los Angeles area. Volunteers are needed to hand out registration packets, set up and tear down the Expo at Chumash Park, and operate check points along the race routes. Sign up now at jodi@greatraceofagoura.com.

United Track: Volunteers are needed starting this Saturday during United Track home meets to staff the Snack Shack, which is a fundraiser run by the AHS Track and Field team. All meets are on Saturdays and there are two shifts (8:00 - 11:30am and from 11:30 am - 3:00pm). The dates are 3/12, 4/2, 4/16, and 4/30. Volunteers must sign up in advance to receive service hours.
