We've got some exciting events coming up this week. First of all, we have a LATE START DAY on Wednesday, March 9 and that is always a happy occasion. Saturday will be jam-packed with activities, from the GRAD NITE garage sale in the morning to IB's MUNCH MADNESS in the afternoon. Details below.

The Moorpark College Preview Day for seniors applying to Moorpark College will be on March 11, 2016 from 8:30am-1pm. Field Trip slips are due in the College and Career Center by 1pm on Monday, March 7. Make sure to have front and back of the slip signed.
Pierce College will be holding an application workshop in C2 at lunch on 3/10.

On March 23 during lunch , AHS alumni from the classes of 2010-2015 will be in A1 to tell about their after high school experiences and how they got to where they are now. There will be a variety of students - community college, four-year, and vocational. Come listen to what advice they may have. All students are welcome.

Zimbe is Coming!
|
ZIMBE is coming to the AHS PAEC! On Sunday, March 20th at 4 p.m., Lesley Leighton and the Los Robles Master Chorale will present an exciting world cultures concert, bringing together the Los Robles Master Chorale, Los Robles Children's Choir, and the Choirs of Agoura High School. ZIMBE! is a work of South African music telling the stories of the fight for freedom and equality featuring piano, percussion, narrator, multi-media, and voices of all ages. Service Learning Opportunities
|
Do you need service learning hours??? There are many fun events that you can participate in March!!
Grad Night Garage Sale will be held in the Teachers Parking Lot. Help is needed with set up on Friday, March 11,2016 from 5:00pm-9:00pm and on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 7:00am-12:00pm. Please contact Karen Lijewski at klijewski@me.com or call 818-917-0163.
Munch Madness is on Saturday, March 12, 2016. It is a fun event to be a part of and a great way to support the AHS IB program. Students who volunteer earn service learning hours. CLICK HERE to volunteer.
The Dole Great Race needs lots of volunteers to help with this huge event which will start Thursday, March 17th- Saturday, March 19, 2016. This is one of the largest running events in the Los Angeles area. Volunteers are needed to hand out registration packets, set up and tear down the Expo at Chumash Park, and operate check points along the race routes. Contact jodi@greatraceofagoura.com.
