Greetings, Charger families!
Thank you to AHS Athletic Director Garrett Lepisto for an amazing update on our winter sports teams. ALL winter teams made the playoffs. Says Lepisto, "Quite the accomplishment to have every team represented in the CIF playoffs."
Over the weekend, the Boys Soccer team was defeated by Pasadena in a Division 3 quarterfinal match and Girls Basketball won their game against Rowland High School in the Division 2A semifinal. We are so proud of our AHS athletes and celebrate how far they have all gone in the playoffs!

CAL GRANT GPA VERIFICATION FORMS
Agoura High School has just received notice that paper verification forms are no longer being accepted. If you are a senior who is applying for a Cal Grant for the 2016-17 school year, please turn in a GPA Verification form to Mrs. Aries in the College and Career Center IMMEDIATELY. ALL FORMS MUST BE ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED BY AHS BY MARCH 2.
If you have already submitted a form, you still need to turn a new one in to Mrs. Aries (it can be a copy of the original)
SENIORS:
The Moorpark College Preview Day for seniors applying to Moorpark College will be on March 11, 2016 from 8:30am-1pm. This is an "odd" day. Please come to the College and Career Center to pick up a transportation waiver. The transportation waivers are due back in the College and Career Center by March 7. Please allow enough time to obtain parent and teacher signatures. No late waivers will be accepted.

Service Learning Opportunities

Do you need service learning hours??? There are many fun events that you can participate in March!!
Grad Night Garage Sale will be held in the Teachers Parking Lot. Help is needed with set up on Friday, March 11,2016 from 5:00pm-9:00pm and on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 7:00am-12:00pm. Please contact Karen Lijewski at klijewski@me.com or call 818-917-0163.
Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center is having their St. Patrick's Day Celebration on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 11:00am-3:00pm. Come join the fun and get service learning hours. Contact www.ahcc.org or call 818-880-2993.
The Dole Great Race needs lots of volunteers to help with this huge event which will start Thursday, March 17th- Saturday, March 19, 2016. This is one of the largest running events in the Los Angeles area. Volunteers are needed to hand out registration packets, set up and tear down the Expo at Chumash Park, and operate check points along the race routes. Contact jodi@greatraceofagoura.com.
