ACTIVITIES
Urbane Café Fundraiser:
Eat at Urbane Café today from 4:00 - 9:00 and a percentage of the proceeds will benefit the Freshman Class. Be sure to mention the AHS Class of 2019 when you purchase your food.

Rock 'n Roll is here to Say, Baby!
Vice is Friday, March 11th at the Canyon Club.
Tickets are $35 with ASB and $40 without. Purchase then on the school webstore and in the AAC through Tuesday, March 8th. Get them while they last, because the Canyon Club has limited space!

Do you Like Free Stuff?
Search and download the "schoolbuilder" APP (one word) on the APP stores and fill out the survey under "Contact Information" for a chance to win a FREE Vice Ticket. The form takes less than a minute to fill out and ends tomorrow, March 2nd.

Are You Interested in Running for Student Council for Next Year?
The last day to turn in packer for elections is on Friday, March 4th at 3:05pm in the AAC. Packets are available in room K-4 or online on the school website under the Student Council Tab.

If you are Planning on Participating as a Senior Servant, packets are due this Friday in room K-4.
 
Calling all Blood Donors!
If you are 16 years or older, please mark your calendars for our last blood drive of the 2-16-16 school year on March 15th. Sign-ups are this Friday and Thursday during nutrition in the main quad.

Link Crew Applications for the 2016 - 17 school year are available in room N-7 and are due by March 24th. Pick one up and join in on the fun! 
 
ACADEMICS
 
There will be a Moorpark College application workshop at lunch today in room C-2.

Want to sign up as a science tutor second semester? 
Download a sign up form from the Science Honor Society website: agourahighschoolshs.weebly.com. Completed forms are due on March 11 during support. 

The Moorpark College Preview Day for seniors
applying to Moorpark College will be on March 11th from 8:30am - 1:00pm. This is an ODD day. Please come to the College and Career Center to pick up a transportation waiver. Waivers are due back to the CCC by March 7th.

AHS has Just Received Information that Paper Cal Grant GPA Verification Forms are no Longer Being Accepted.
If you are a senior who is applying for a Cal Grant for the 2016-17 school year, please turn in a GPA Verification form to Mrs. Aries in the College and Career Center IMMEDIATELY. All forms must be electronically submitted by AHS no later than March 2nd.

If you are having technical problems with your laptop or other devices, be sure to visit the AHS Genius Bar located inside the Media Center. Our tech team support is ready to help solve your problems and perform repairs, update software and share ideas.

The Jewish Student Union
meets today at lunch in room D-4. There will be pizza and fun activities. Everyone is welcome!

Peer Counseling Club
will meet on Wednesday, March 2nd, at lunch in room E-5.
SERVICE LEARNING
Attention All Students! Once you have completed your 15 hour per year requirement, you can apply for the SERVICE LEARNING AWARDS for any additional hours. These applications are due in room C-1 by the deadlines set for each grade. If you have any questions, please come to C-1 to talk to Mrs. Diament or Ms. Capretta.

The Dole Great Race 2016 is a great opportunity to get involved in a fun, community-wide activity. There are many volunteer opportunities (minimum age is 14 unless working with an adult or sibling). Spots fill quickly! Sign up directly at volunteer.greatrace.run.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department Community Emergency Response Team (CERT): is offering free classes on how to prepare and respond in the event of a major disaster.  These classes will count as service learning hours. The classes begin on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 6:30pm-9:30pm and the Saturday class is from 9:00am-12:00noon.  The classes will be held at the Agoura Hills City Hall  30001 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills.  Call 818-597-7314 or www.fire.lacounty.gov/cert
