Greetings, Charger families!

We hope you had a fantastic Halloween! How perfect that this year's festivities lined up with the end of Daylight Saving Time. Hopefully, you remembered to "fall back an hour," adjusted your clocks this morning, and got an extra hour of much needed sleep. Also, Wednesday is a Late Start Day (odd), so definitely watch the clock to make sure your student arrives at the right times this week!

IMPORTANT: Don't forget that this Tuesday is Election Day. Many important school issues will be decided, yet only 20% of our eligible population will typically go vote. Don't be complacent; your voice is crucial and important. See below to find your polling place. PLEASE VOTE.

GET OUT THE VOTE!
Election day is THIS Tuesday, November 3. Don't forget to vote!

Need to find your polling place? Go to http://lavote.net/Locator/ and type in your street address. Polls will be open on Tuesday from 7am to 8pm. If you vote by mail, mail your ballot immediately OR you can also drop it off at any local polling station on Election Day to make your vote count.

There are critical issues - like our own Measure E - on the ballot and every vote counts. We as parents have the most at stake in this election, yet are often the least likely to vote. Mark your calendars, set an alarm, do what you need to but don't forget!

Your vote is your voice. Make it count! Vote November 3!
