This is the weekly Student Bulletin for September 29, 2015. The PFC provides the Student Bulletin as a service to our school community, but we do not generate the contents. All questions regarding the announcements below should be directed to Janice Cohen, the Activity and Athletic Secretary. She can be reached via email or by phone at 818-889-1262 ext. 231.

ACADEMICS
Attention All Students:
The last day for class level changes is October 9th. Changes will be made subject to availability

CSF Applications for Fall 2015 are due to Mr. Teitell in room C-5 by this Friday, Oct. 2nd at the end of Support Period. The $5 donation may be paid on the webstore or in the AAC through the end of Support Period on Friday, October 2nd.  

PSAT: Attention all students!
This year's PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 14th, from 8:00am - 12:00noon in the AHS Gym.   TODAY, September 29th is the last day to register on the webstore or at the AAC. The cost to register is $20.  

Senior Meetings with Counselors
are going on now! For instructions on how to sign up for your senior meeting, go to the front page of your Naviance account - it's quick and easy! These appointments are for a limited time, so please sign up today! If you have questions, please come to the Counseling Office.

Need to Study for an Upcoming Math Test? Struggling with your math homework?
If so, please stop by room M-10, the Math Tutoring Center. Our fabulous math tutors are ready to help you anytime during support or lunch.

ACTIVITIES
The Future Foundation
Youth Leadership Program:
Students accepted into this program will have the opportunity to develop effective leadership skills while learning more about their communities. The areas covered are: Introduction to Leadership, Local Government, Law Enforcement, Health Services, Recreation, Education, Community Services, and Business. The programs will be conducted by representatives from each of the above entities and the students will meet at the particular venue where the speaker works such as city hall, the hospital, etc.

Do you Have a Horse or Love Horses? Come learn about the AHS Equestrian Team at an informational meeting today, September 29th at lunch in room K-1.

Congratulations Freshmen Class!
Design #1, created by Jordan Enoch, is the official design for the freshmen class shirt. Pre-order forms are available in room K-4 and are due to room K-4 no later than Wednesday, Sept. 30th. Shirts will be sold for $10.

The Homecoming Dance will be
Saturday, October 10th

If you haven't bought your Homecoming ticket yet, don't worry! Tickets are on sale on the webstore or at the AAC for $27 w/ASB and $30 without. Find that special someone and get your tickets now!

 
Attention Seniors: Senior quotes are here! Pick up a form in room J-1 or print if off of the yearbook Facebook page. Turn them in no later than this Thursday, October 1st in front of J-1. Any questions, contact Emma Loewenthal at emmaloewenthal@yahoo.com.  

ATHLETICS
Boys Lacrosse:
There will be a parent/player pre-season mandatory information meeting on Thursday, October 8th at 7:00pm in the "G" Building for all new and returning players. If you have questions, please come to the AAC.
SERVICE LEARNING
