This is the weekly Student Bulletin for September 22, 2015. The PFC provides the Student Bulletin as a service to our school community, but we do not generate the contents. ACADEMICS
Join Science Honor Society!
The interest meeting for science tutors is on Thursday, September 24th at lunch in room B-4. Application forms will be available and the sign-up process will be explained. Be nationally recognized for your talents and efforts!

may be submitted to Mr. Teitell in room C-5 during Support Period only from September 28th - October 2nd. Donations may be paid on the webstore now through October 2nd or at the AAC from September 28th - October 2nd.  

PSAT: Attention all students!
This year's PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 14th, from 8:00am - 12:00 noon in the AHS Gym.    You may register on the webstore
or in the AAC now through September 29th. The cost to register is $20.

Message from the Media Center!
Attention 9th and 10th graders
You have 2 weeks left to complete your online Digital Literacy. The October 2nd deadline is fast approaching. Check with the Media Center if you have questions. If you have not checked out a laptop, please bring in your parent permission form signed to check one out.

The last day for class level changes is October 9th. Changes will be made subject to availability.

Hello English Lovers:
If you would like to be a part of English Honor Society, please attend the interest meeting on September 24th during lunch in room K-2.

Need to Study for an Upcoming Math Test? Struggling with your math homework?
If so, please stop by room M-10, the Math Tutoring Center. Our fabulous math tutors are ready to help you anytime during support or lunch.

ACTIVITIES
Attention Sophomores!
The deadline for submitting T-shirt designs has been extended to this Friday, September 25th. Come to room K-4 anytime at lunch to turn in your designs.

Battle of the Bands is this Friday at 7:00pm
in the PAEC. Come watch your fellow students rock out! Tickets are $8 w/ASB and $10 without. On Friday we will have a rock 'n roll dress up day in honor of Battle of the Bands. Be sure to dress up and get your 10 spirit points.

Attention Aspiring Directors, Writers, Artists, Composers, Photographers!
Enter the National REFLECTIONS Arts Contest. Create on the theme "Let Your Imagination Fly." Learn more today, Tuesday, September 22nd at 12:30pm in room E-1, Ms. Taylor's room. The deadline for submissions is October 23, 2015 by 3:00pm in the Main Office.

You've talked, and we've listened! Agoura High School is proud to announce that our new cafeteria, The Charger Café is offering healthy and tasty food options. There will be a special entrée each day of the week. You can pre-order food online to skip the line! Check out bit.ly/chargercafé to see the menu and order form. You can also browse through a physical copy at the AAC.

SERVICE LEARNING
Come to the PAEC for Service Learning Training today, September 22nd from 3:00 - 4:00pm.

Break it Down Total Sports needs help teaching sports to children with special needs on Saturdays from September 26 through November 14, 2015 from 8:30am - 12:00noon. Please contact Stephanie Dale at www.breakitdowntotalsports.com.

The City of Malibu needs volunteers to help with Tiny Tot Olympics
Sunday, September 27th from 10:00am - 2:00pm at Malibu Bluffs Park. Please sign up at
www.malibucity.org/teens.

On Sunday September 27, 2015 from 9:00am - 1:30pm at Paramount Ranch, there will be a 5K walk/hike to help fight malignant pleural mesothelioma. Your help is needed to make this event successful. Please contact Clare Cameron at 310-478-4678.
