February 2016
Self Care
With Valentine's Day this month, consider that for your relationships with loved ones to be where you want them to be, you need to first have that relationship with yourself.

Take time to do something nice for yourself, by yourself, every day. Whether it's sitting in meditation, taking a hot bath, reading and relaxing, watching your favorite program or taking a 20 minute nap, the sacred moments that you carve out for you in the course of your day allow you to enjoy deeper and more meaningful relationships with others.

This act of self-care serves you by:
  • getting to know yourself better and what it is that you really want
  • providing wisdom and guidance in the slowing down
  • creating healthy boundaries with others
  • role modeling for your children how to be their own best friend
By taking the time you need, for your life, to understand what is important to you and what brings you fulfillment and joy, you organically enhance the connection you have with others.

Enjoy.

Happy February!

PLANT-ASTIC
PLANT-BASED

By Whole Foods Market

Whether you're a seasoned vegan or a confirmed omnivore, this weeks' worth of plant-centric meals and snacks will delights and satisfy. From hearty cauliflower steaks to spicy shiitake pho, these recipes celebrate versatile vegetables beyond the salad bowl! Each day offers meals and snacks and comes in at 1800-calories total. Plus we give detailed prep tips and re-use leftovers when possible to make it that much easier to eat healthfully all week!

PREPARE FOR SUCCESS

There are no two ways about it - when you eat mostly whole foods, you spend more time preparing meals than you would spend reheating frozen dinners. The good news is that the extra time in the kitchen is a great investment in your health, and you can save time by prepping and cooking ahead. Many of these recipes make several servings, so you can portion out leftovers for to-go lunches or easy dinners on busy days.
Plan for Sunday to be a big shopping and cooking day. We've organized a few recipes to help you get your week off to a great start, and if you make these on the weekend, you'll spend less time cooking throughout the week.

Learn how to plan your entire week and gain helpful tips and tricks that are budget friendly on the wallet....

Workshops and Classes to Support YOU

With Sheree Asdot

There is nothing that makes my soul soar more than seeing someone's inner light shine as they recognize their own innate healing power. I am passionate about healing and have studied Reiki and other various forms of energy healing over the last 17 years. After experiencing the profound effect Reiki had on my own personal healing journey I began to teach Reiki to others in 2003 and have since trained hundreds of people in the Usui tradition of Reiki.

I walk the path of the Goddess and facilitate Women's Groups teaching and sharing Goddess Spirituality and personal healing. It is a true joy to help other women wake up to their true Divine Feminine Power. The power of gentle, nurturing, love. I offer private healing sessions and counseling sessions by appointment as well. It is my honor to be a part of your journey to re-member and welcome back your inner healer and Divine Goddess Self. I look forward to meeting you on the journey path....
