I once knew a man, an artist, in great despair.
We were discussing the concept of gratitude and the idea that when we take time to reflect on what we have to be grateful about, we open the door for gratitude to come rushing into our lives in greater amounts.
I asked this individual, one year during the season of autumn, what he might be grateful for.
One of this man's greatest attributes is that he speaks thoughtfully. It is an admirable quality.
True to his nature, he took several moments, and then answered, "I am grateful for the color of pumpkins."
It was one of the nicest sentences I've ever heard spoken.
This month, no matter what state of mind you may be experiencing, consider pausing to appreciate the beautiful color of pumpkins.
Happy November!

Are Anti-Depressants more Harmful Than Useless?
C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D.
To some extent it is a tossup as to whether they are more useless or more harmful! Four distinct studies have demonstrated that anti-depressants are useless. That is, since three-quarters of the "official" formal studies were NOT ALLOWED to be published, no less than one in the NEW England Journal of Medicine has stated that the net result is zero! On the other hand, there is considerable evidence of increased suicide rates, obesity, impotency and now diabetes, among other COMPLICATIONS, facetiously called "side-effects":
The bottom line is that doing nothing may be SAFER & MORE EFFECTIVE than taking these drugs! There are indeed phenomenally safer and more effective approaches to relieving depression:
- Physical exercise
- Proper nutrition and supplements
- Vitamin D 3, tryptophan, B complex. Omega-3's, among others
- Sunshine
- Liss Cranial Electrical Stimulation
- The Shealy RelaxMate
- Air Bliss
- Fire Bliss
TRY EVERYTHING SAFER
before taking anti-depressants!!!
