Do you tend to people please, or allow people to overstep their boundaries in your presence? Consider tuning in to your body to find out what you really want out of life. The body never lies. When it's a "no" you know it inside your body- something doesn't feel quite right. When it's a "yes", you know it, too. You feel open and excited.
When you consciously set an intention to listen to yourself and your true heart's desire before you engage in conversation, before you commit to an activity or before you spend precious moments of your day doing something you don't really want to do, you are more likely to be true to yourself. One simple intention as you start your day, or separating your intentions before each segment of your day, is all it takes. You will find you are more in control, more present with others and much more grounded. It really comes down to taking the time to get to know yourself even better than you think you do already.
So much anxiety is rooted in doing what we really don't want to be doing. This month, consider practicing being true to yourself and discover what that really means for YOU.
