"SPRING FLING" TEACHER BIRTHDAY LUNCHEON 4/23

WHEN: This Thursday, 4/23

DETAILS: Twice a year we feed the Teachers and Staff to celebrate their birthdays. We will be having a SPRING FLING birthday luncheon to celebrate the birthdays that fall from January to June (although all teachers get to enjoy the lunch)...and we need your help! Please look at this Sign-Up Genius link to see what is still needed.

Please sign up to bring a food dish(s) or other items needed. In addition, we will need assistance with set up and clean up. All food needs to be at the school by 10:45 am.  Don't forget to label your dishes with your child's name and teacher and we will return them to you via your child unless you opt to pick them up at 2:00 pm.

BOX TOPS CONTEST IS HERE - SEND YOURS IN NOW!

BOX TOP CONTEST April 27 - May 1st!

Box Tops are each worth 10¢ for our school! Our goal is to collect 10,000 ($1000) Box Tops next week. Rockwell has 675 students. If each student brings in 15 Box Tops (minimum), we can accomplish this goal.

The PTA collects the Box Top funds to use toward the purchase of:

  • Recess materials
  • New teacher supplies
  • Buses for field trips
  • Toymaker or many other programs that enrich your child's education.

Contests are fun for everyone, but they do have rules:

1. Find Box Tops on hundreds of products. Look for this PINK and WHITE little square

2. Neatly Clip Box Tops from each package. Please make sure they are not expired.

3. Send the Box Tops to your teacher in an envelope or baggie.

With Rules, come rewards:

1. The GRADE with the HIGHEST average of Box Tops collected per students WINS 5 MINUTES extra of Lunch RECESS!

2. The CLASSROOM with the HIGHEST average of Box Tops collected per student WINS an EXTRA 15 MINUTE RECESS!

 3. As an added BONUS, if Rockwell collects 10,000 Box Tops next week, our Principal and Intern will do something special at the year-end assembly! Stay Tuned!

For more information on the Box Tops for Education program, including a list of participating products and how much our school has earned to date, visit http://www.boxtops4education.com/

Thanks for your help! Ready, Set, Clip!!

ATTENTION 4TH GRADE PARENTS

Parent volunteers are needed to help with creating the blank shield-like student banners for the 5th grade promotion ceremony. Traditionally, 4th grade parents help with this event, so the 5th grade parents can just enjoy the event (although anyone is welcome to help). Sign up to volunteer on the Rockwell PTA website.

If you need assistance with creating your free account on the website, or have questions about helping with this event, please contact:
