Chess Club Winter Registration
CHESS CLUB - REGISTER NOW FOR WINTER SESSION

Hi Parents, 

My apologies for not sending this out sooner, but we've had some issues with securing classroom space for our winter session of chess club. Now that is all ironed out and we can start registering your children!

Please click on one of the links below to register your child for either a Monday or Friday class. I will create a SignUpGenius and send in a separate email for volunteers to help assist the class. Per PTA regulations, we require one parent volunteer to attend all after school programs. Chess4Life will take care of registration and attendance, but you will be there to assist. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

MONDAY Chess Club - Session runs 1/12 - 3/30:  

Mondays  (3:00 PM - 4:25 PM).

No class on 1/19 and 2/16

FRIDAY Chess Club - Session runs 1/16 - 4/17:

Fridays (3:00 PM - 4:25 PM).

No class on 1/30, 2/13, 3/13, 4/10

I'll also be looking for one parent volunteer to be the coordinator for the entire Winter session (I'll need one for Monday and one for Friday). If you are the coordinator, you'll help out each week with the class. There is a special savings for chess club for your child should you choose to volunteer for this role. Bugle Article Submissions Welcome
  
The Beagle Bugle welcomes article submissions from students and parents.  Student journalists may submit articles about current events, students opinion-editorials and poems or short stories.  Parents may submit articles about PTA events and school related topics. 

Any article that is unrelated to PTA or Rockwell must be approved by the Lake Washington School District, and will be posted on the Community Bulletin Board.  The Lake Washington School District website has more information on the submission and approval process.

Short pieces will be edited for inclusion in the Bugle, longer pieces will be posted on the website with a link in the Bugle.  The Deadline for submissions for the next weekly Bugle is the preceding Thursday.  The Bugle Staff reserves the right to be selective regarding the materials that are publicized.
