Ice Hockey and Men's Basketball Athletes Named Division III Players of the Year
 A memorable year for Babson Athletics now includes an unprecedented accomplishment: two Babson student athletes have been named national Division III Players of the Year in 2016.
In men's basketball, Joey Flannery '17 received national player of the year honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) after averaging career-high numbers in points, rebounds, assists, and steals this past winter. A two-time NABC and D3hoops.com All-America first-team selection, Flannery also was named SmallCollegeHoops.com DIII News Player of the Year. Read more �
 In men's ice hockey, senior goaltender Jamie Murray '16 became the first in program history to be selected as the winner of the Sid Watson Award, which is presented annually by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) to the Division III Player of the Year. Murray also is the first repeat winner and only two-time recipient of the Joe Concannon Award, presented each year to New England's top American-born player by the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston.
