Babson's New Master of Science in Finance Program Set to Launch This Fall
Master of Science in Finance Program
Babson's recently created Master of Science in Finance program is designed for students with less than two years of work experience and provides in-depth financial and quantitative knowledge. It combines sophisticated problem solving, practical application, ethical judgment, and professional development and communication skills. Babson Athletics New Logo Babson Athletics has unveiled its new graphic identity--a clean and contemporary logo redesign, representative of the institution's next generation of branded collegiate athletics. Ice Hockey and Men's Basketball Athletes Named Division III Players of the Year
Joey Flannery A memorable year for Babson Athletics now includes an unprecedented accomplishment: two Babson student athletes have been named national Division III Players of the Year in 2016.

In men's basketball, Joey Flannery '17 received national player of the year honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) after averaging career-high numbers in points, rebounds, assists, and steals this past winter. A two-time NABC and D3hoops.com All-America first-team selection, Flannery also was named SmallCollegeHoops.com DIII News Player of the Year. Read more �

Jamie Murray In men's ice hockey, senior goaltender Jamie Murray '16 became the first in program history to be selected as the winner of the Sid Watson Award, which is presented annually by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) to the Division III Player of the Year. Murray also is the first repeat winner and only two-time recipient of the Joe Concannon Award, presented each year to New England's top American-born player by the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston. Read more �
The Lewis Institute Honors Entrepreneurs as Social Innovators
The Lewis Institute's 2016 Babson Social Innovator Award recipients were honored earlier this month: Gavin Armstrong, founder of Lucky Iron Fish™; Bernie Glassman, founder of Greyston Bakery and the Greyston Foundation; and Bill Bolling, founder of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Babson Tops Money's List of "10 Great Colleges For Business Majors"
Babson College has been recognized by Money magazine as the best school for business majors as part of its 2015 "Best Colleges" ranking. Assistant Professor of Marketing Lauren Beitelspacher has been recognized by Poets & Quants as one of the Most Outstanding 40 under 40 Business School Professors. Nelly M. Farra Experienced local community leader Nelly M. Farra MBA'10 has been named director of Babson's new Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab, created by The Center for Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL), in Miami. She joins Babson with more than 15 years of experience in business development and marketing and will lead the expansion of Babson's accelerator program for women entrepreneurs in Miami. Read more �

Men's Hoops Alumnus Halcovage Helps Villanova Win National Championship
George Halcovage A four-year member of the Babson men's basketball program, George Halcovage '08 is in his eighth season on the coaching staff at Villanova and was promoted to director of basketball operations in January. He also has served as video coordinator and was a video intern after being hired as a graduate assistant coach before the 2008-2009 campaign. Read more �
