Babson No. 1 for Entrepreneurship for 19th Consecutive Time
U.S. News & World Report has ranked Babson College No. 1 in entrepreneurship for an unprecedented 19th time. MIT, University of Southern California, UC Berkeley, and University of Pennsylvania round out the top five colleges for entrepreneurship. Read more »
 
PayScale: Babson Is No. 1 Private Business College for Salary Potential -- Again     
Babson once again is the top private business school for salary potential of graduates, according to the 2015-2016 PayScale College Salary Report. Harvard, Caltech, MIT, and Stanford join us in the top 10. Read more » 
Meet the Record-Shattering Centennial Class of 2019  
This month, Babson welcomed the undergraduate Class of 2019 to campus. The centennial class is Babson's first majority female class, boasting the highest SAT average and the College's most selective admission rate to date: of 7,515 applications received, only 26 percent were accepted. "Clearly, interest in a Babson education has never been higher, nor our institutional reputation more well regarded," said President Kerry Healey. Learn more » 
Babson Dedicates Leonard A. Schlesinger Innovation Center
During the Founder's Day festivities on September 9, Babson hosted a dedication of the new entrepreneurial hub, the Leonard A. Schlesinger Innovation Center, named for our 12th president. The startup space, located in Park Manor West, represents the pillars of President Schlesinger's tenure at Babson--encouraging students and faculty to embody Entrepreneurial Thought and Action® as a means to make an impact in their life and in the lives of others. We Put the "Hire" in "Higher Education"
Babson is one of only 50 colleges featured in a new Princeton Review book, Colleges That Create Futures: 50 Schools That Launch Careers by Going Beyond the Classroom. The education services company's senior vice president and publisher called Babson "stellar at putting the 'hire' in 'higher education.'" 2016 Alumni Entrepreneur Hall of Fame and Rising Star Award
Nominate fellow Babson alumni or yourself for the seventh annual Alumni Entrepreneur Hall of Fame Award and/or the Rising Star Award. Honorees will be inducted at a dinner ceremony April 13, 2016, on campus. Established in 2008, the Hall of Fame welcomes alumni who distinguish themselves in entrepreneurial endeavors in all types of enterprises. Nominations will be accepted through October 15 »  
Babson Blended Learning: Test-It-Out
F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College offers a unique opportunity for those interested in experiencing the Blended Learning MBA firsthand. The Babson Blended Learning: Test-It-Out program is taught in the blended learning format with online learning and collaboration, as well as face-to-face sessions at Babson's campus. During Health Care Strategy, you'll explore the complex and rapidly changing healthcare ecosystem and examine challenges and opportunities. Students who successfully complete the program and subsequently enter a Babson MBA part-time program will earn 3 advanced standing credits. Read more »
U.S. Entrepreneurship Hits Record-High Levels
Researchers at Babson and Baruch College count 24 million American entrepreneurs--among the highest level in the developed world. These entrepreneurs, or 14 percent of the U.S. population, are invigorating the American economy, according to the 2014 Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) U.S. Report. This is the highest rate ever recorded in the United States. The report also notes the rise of job creation and optimism, and a decline in the fear of failure. Learn more and read the report »

Connect with the heart of Babson's entrepreneurial community by serving as a BASE (Babson Alumni Supporting Entrepreneurs) volunteer or client . We are seeking alumni volunteers from around the world to facilitate virtual consultations or open office hours with fellow entrepreneurs. If you are interested in sharing your business knowledge and expertise to help fellow entrepreneurs tackle a specific business issue for their startup or develop strategies to grow their business, please complete the Volunteer Application. If you are an entrepreneur--local or global, facing a business challenge, or seeking some input to move your entrepreneurial venture to the next level of success--please complete the Alumni Entrepreneur Client Application. Help Mentor Current Students When You Coach at Babson 
The Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program (CLTP) is a unique program in which undergraduate students participate during their first year and again as a junior/senior. Our coaches are Babson parents, alumni, experienced graduate students, business leaders, and entrepreneurs! Develop your professional connections, while advising students, too! A cure is her finish line.

Change is hard. Changing a career midstream is harder. But that's just what Kelly Greeley did. While working in investment banking, her aunt succumbed to cancer. Greeley turned grief into a new career and is now a liaison between clinical trials, doctors, and patients who would benefit from them most. She learned that the best way to overcome a fear of change is to jump in with both feet, which she did by running the Boston Marathon® as part of Komen for the Cure. Watch Kelly's story »
Announcing the Babson Breakaway Challenge
The Babson Breakaway Challenge is a one-of-a-kind competition and mentoring program that promotes gender parity while championing women entrepreneurs and aspiring venture capitalists. It is open to women-led businesses and women who are interested in pursuing careers in venture capital. The winning entrepreneur will receive $250,000 in funding for her business--the largest award of any business competition for women--as well as other prizes and services, including the creation of a customized brand platform. The highest-performing aspiring venture capitalists also will receive internships at local venture capital firms. Learn more » 
Can the Sharing Economy Fix Climate Change?  
Entrepreneurship of all kinds Robin Chase learned a lot from co-founding and running Zipcar, one of the first household names in the modern sharing economy. Zipcar's business model ran on two truths--people (the peers) are willing to share excess capacity because a company (the Inc.) has made the platform simple and organized. She calls this organizational structure Peers Inc. and has some big ideas for how a Peers Inc. approach can solve climate change, the greatest challenge of our time.

Will you host a Babson student as a job shadow? Our Externship Program is intentionally designed as an educational experience for students, rather than an employment experience. This is a unique opportunity for students to learn about the business world in a low-risk, short-term job shadow experience, and we invite our externship hosts (YOU!) to partner with us in coaching these students in areas such as professionalism and the world of business.Job shadow experiences can last one to three days throughout October.
