Babson Releases Diana Project's New Research on Women and Venture Capital
| Researchers at Babson College identify enormous, untapped opportunity for venture capitalists to drive new growth and innovation by investing in women entrepreneurs. The study, entitled Women Entrepreneurs 2014: Bridging the Gender Gap in Venture Capital, was conducted by Babson professors Candida G. Brush and Patricia G. Greene who lead the Diana Project, a program founded in 1996 to research women-led businesses globally. Learn more »

Babson Alumni Make Successful Pitch on "Shark Tank"
|
On September 25, David Heath '05, Andrew Heath M'12, and co-founder Randy Goldberg pitched sock company Bombas on the season premiere of "Shark Tank" and scored a deal with former Entrepreneur in Residence Daymond John. Bombas joins alumni businesses DoorBot (now Ring),founded by Jamie Siminoff '99, and Lord Nut Levington,founded by Sanjiv Patel M'02, which were featured on the show previously.

Newly Renovated Design Zone 125 Opens

The F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business recently renovated the Olin 125 classroom to enhance design thinking and Entrepreneurial Thought and Action®. The completely remodeled classroom, Design Zone 125, opened this month and was specifically designed to enable collaboration, creative thinking, and problem solving. Learn more »

Welcome to Our Newest Graduate Students!
|
This fall, we have welcomed a new group of impressive graduate students to campus. We are now joined on campus by the Babson MBA Two-Year Class of 2016. This class of 143 students is a diverse group with 66 percent international students representing 23 countries and 33 percent multicultural students. Before coming to Babson, these students earned degrees at 114 universities.
The inaugural Master of Science in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership program has commenced with 49 students joining the Babson community. The program consists of 37 percent women and 65 percent international students.
We also are joined by a new group of Evening MBA students. These students bring a wealth of experience with an average of seven years in the workforce. We are excited to have all of these students on campus and they look forward to connecting with the alumni network!
