On Saturday, May 17, 2014, Babson held its 95th Undergraduate Commencement ceremony and 62nd Graduate Commencement ceremony, featuring speakers and honorary degree recipients Tory Burch, Bobby Sager, and Leonard Schlesinger. Learn more » 

William Lamb Named Murata Dean of the Graduate School
William Lamb will come to Babson from Ohio University, where he is currently the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Associate Professor of Strategic Management in the College of Business.

Global Scholars Program Launches 

Beginning in fall 2014, a small, highly talented group of international students will be awarded need-based scholarships as part of our Global Scholars Program.
Students selected for the Global Scholars Program will receive four-year, full-tuition scholarships.

Glavin Receives Babson Medal    


On Friday, May 16, 2014, Babson's 9th president, William F. Glavin H'99 was awarded the Babson Medal at a ceremony on campus. The Babson Medal represents one of the highest honors bestowed on an individual for outstanding achievement and commitment to the College.

Babson Honors Retiring Faculty 
Eight faculty members were honored during the Commencement ceremonies on May 17, 2014 for their years of service to the school. Their combined service totals 270 years. Learn More » 
Babson Alumni Association Board Elections

Lewis Institute Honors 2014 Changemaker Award Recipients

2014 Changemaker Awards Since 2011, the Lewis Institute's Changemaker Awards have recognized Babson students and staff who put forth remarkable effort toward the creation of positive change within the community and in the world. The recipients of this year's Changemaker Awards are faculty member Mary Pinard, staff member Melissa Shaak, graduate student Mayank Arora M'15, and undergraduate student Irene Laochaisri '17. The Institute's first alumni award was given to Jon Feinman M'10. Learn More » 
Another Successful Lemonade Day 
This year, Lemonade Day 2014 engaged 3,000 students across the city of Boston, including more than 80 alumni and friends of Babson through participation, sponsorship, and volunteering. The Alumni and Friends Network distributed more than 250 backpacks to alumni families and partnered with three educational institutions with current Babson graduates. All of their efforts were supported by donors that included more than 30 alumni and friends of the College. Learn More »

Sarah Hodges M'10 and Jon Feinman M'10 were honored as BostInno Alumni Impact Award winners at the first Boston UpFront event at the Revere Hotel in Boston. The awards recognize young leaders who graduated from a Boston-area college who have made a positive impact in Massachusetts and are shaping what's to come in the future of innovation. Save the date for Reunion & Homecoming Weekend, taking place September 19-21. If you graduated in a year ending in a 4 or a 9, this is your reunion year! We also invite all alumni to come back to campus for Homecoming, which includes fun up at The Tent, live entertainment, affinity gatherings, varsity and alumni games, and family-friendly activities! Executive Education Ranked Highly by Financial Times

Babson has been named the eighth-best custom executive education program in the United States, according to the Financial Times 2014 Executive Education rankings. Financial Times ranked the top 80 customized programs in the world, and Babson was ranked No. 19 worldwide.
"I am proud of the unique value proposition that we deliver to our clients and the work that we do around the globe to further Babson's mission of developing entrepreneurial leaders of all kinds...everywhere," said Dean of Executive Education Elaine Eisenman.
