Babson Executive and Enterprise Education to Offer World's First Entrepreneurship Policy and Development Program
This program is designed to help public policymakers, civic leaders, foundation heads, and their private sector counterparts foster entrepreneurial ecosystems. Participants will explore the entrepreneurship drivers such as policy, markets, finance, human capital, culture, and institutional supports that must come together to provide an environment in which ventures are not just started, but grown. This four-day program, March 10-13, 2014, takes a fresh look at fostering entrepreneurship in an innovative and collaborative environment. Alumni are encouraged to spread the word about this unique offering to policymakers in their regions.

Volunteer Opportunity with Current Students

Will you host a Job Shadowing student? Our externship program is intentionally designed as an educational experience for students, rather than an employment experience. For some students, this externship may be their first exposure to a real business experience. This is a unique opportunity for students to learn about the business world in a low-risk, short-term job shadow experience. As an externship company, you can help coach these students about professionalism and the world of business. Job shadow experience can last from one to five days between January 2-17, 2014. Please contact Arline MacCormack, assistant director of Experiential Programs, if you are interested in hosting an externship student!

B-Club Alumni Spotlight: Bill Allard '83
Babson Athletics recently sat down with former basketball player, Bill Allard '83.
Babson Athletics: What advice would you give to our current first-years beginning their careers at Babson?
Bill Allard: Go in with an open mind and absorb as much as you can. Be intellectually curious. Don't be too narrowly focused and take as many different courses as you can. Have no preconceived notions of college, be a sponge, and absorb from other students. It's not just the classroom, it's Boston, students, professors, work, sports. Leave your comfort zone.
