Measuring your Impact and Promoting your Successes
Your accomplishments strengthen the College’s reputation among our competitors. In early February, the Alumni and Friends Network in partnership with the Arthur M. Blank Center will launch the 2013 Babson Alumni Career Pathways Study. Findings will be shared with the Babson community in late summer. Please keep an eye out for the Career Pathways Study email.

Babson Announces Five Honorees for 2013 Athletics Hall of Fame Induction

The Babson College Athletics Hall of Fame Committee has announced the five honorees for its 2013 induction ceremony to be held on Friday, April 12. The Hall of Fame’s 14th induction class will include field hockey phenom Elise Conley Weigold ’06, men’s soccer star Mark Sullivan ’86, ice hockey legend Joe Capprini ’91, women’s soccer standout Julie Doscher Borjeson ’88, and current men’s soccer coach Jon Anderson ’75, P’04 ’08 ’13 ’13. We’re excited to share the plans for completing the Park Manor Quad. Upon the completion of the final residence hall in the quad, we’ll have a centralized space for undergraduate students, affording them more opportunities for spontaneous interaction and collaboration in the heart of our campus. Tailored support based on one of three venture stages—explore, pursue, launch and grow—the program includes a network of entrepreneurs, access to faculty advisors, participation in peer mentoring, and workshop offerings. 2013 MassChallenge
Babson is an academic sponsor of MassChallenge, a global business competition that provides entrepreneurs with resources to launch their ventures successfully. MassChallenge will be holding an info session about its 2013 competition at Babson on Monday, February 11. RSVP or learn more. B.E.T.A. Challenge - Volunteers Needed!
Formerly the Douglass Graduate Business Plan Competition and John H. Muller Jr. Undergraduate Business Plan Competition, the Blank Center's B.E.T.A. (Babson Entrepreneurial Thought and ActionŽ) Challenge recognizes and awards major milestones student businesses have achieved by taking action. The Blank Center is looking for alumni to volunteer as business evaluators to help determine the student business finalists. If you are interested in becoming a business plane evaluator, please contact Antonette Ho. Babson is also excited to announce that the B.E.T.A challenge will introduce an alumni competition in 2013.
