Board of Education Meeting Location, April 25 
 
The next Board of Education meeting is Monday, April 25.  The meeting will be held at Hadley Junior High School to provide more space for a community presentation by the District 41 Community Facilities Task Force.  After 9 months of work, they will be presenting a report with recommendations on how to remove portables at Hadley, provide space for full-day kindergarten and address facility deficiencies at all schools.

Thank you to the entire committee and a special thank you to co-chairs Lori Taylor and Tom Voltaggio for their time and dedication to leading this process!

Sign Up for Parent Camp - April 30
 
 
 
 

Parent Camp is a morning for parents and educators to connect and informally talk about topics related to what is best for kids. Parent Camp is a national concept supported by the US Department of Education.  "Hadley teacher Teresa Shea brought this idea to District 41 and we are very excited to host this event for our parents," said Superintendent Paul Gordon.

Join the Race 4 Churchill School

The Glen Ellyn Children's Resource Center (GECRC) and District 41 would like to support Churchill School students with a GECRC after school program. GECRC has connected with the DuPage Human Race to raise funds to help make this new program possible. The 5th Annual DuPage Human Race is Saturday April 30. Make sure to let them know you are running to support Churchill and GECRC!

  • IGSMA State Contest: Saturday, April 23, (performance time: 11:30 am) at Troy Middle School, 5800 W. Theodore Street, Plainfield, IL
  • Spring Band Concert: 8th Grade Band: Thursday, April 28 at 6:15 pm in the Hadley Auditorium
  • Spring Band Concert: 8th Grade Band: Thursday, April 28 at 7:45 pm in the Hadley Auditorium
