BOE MEETING AT CHURCHILL MONDAY

Monday's (Jan. 14) regular Board of Education (BOE) meeting will be held in the Churchill Library Learning Center at 7:30 p.m. Among the items on the agenda are a presentation by Churchill on its Wolfpacks initiative and an administrative recommendation for elementary foreign language. The public is always welcome and encouraged to attend BOE meetings and time is set aside for public comment at the beginning and at the conclusion of the meeting. To view the complete packet of meeting information, click here.

GLEN ELLYN HISTORY CENTER PRESENTS: LETTERS OF THE CIVIL WAR
Sunday, Jan. 27 at 2:00 p.m., the Glen Ellyn Historical Society presents "Letters of the Civil War" at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 North Main Street. Tickets are available at Stacy's Corners Store and at the door on the afternoon of the program. The 60-minute performance features period attired Civil War actors dramatically interpreting over 30 original letters from the war accompanied by music, period photographs and historical reenactment video footage.
