September 2015

In countless studies, kindness has been linked to greater life satisfaction, stronger relationships, and better mental and physical health.

But how to boost it in your life? Juliana Breines has three research-based tips that draw from the GGSC's new Greater Good in Action resource.

Also on Greater Good:
The Science of Inequality
A new Yale study suggests that evidence of wealth inequality may lead to lower levels of social cooperation. Jill Suttie looks at what that may mean for social policy.

And a new book explores a different angle on inequality, demonstrating how many of the tools used in our criminal justice system are inherently flawed, too often harming the innocent rather than serving justice.
Help Uncover the Mysteries of Awe
Awe is a powerful and life-changing emotion that influences our health and well-being. To understand more about this powerful emotion, GGSC Founding Director Dacher Keltner is leading the first-ever worldwide study of awe.

Keltner's Project Awe needs your help! Please take a few minutes to fill out a short survey to tell them about your memorable awe experiences.
