This day-long seminar, led by Mindful Self-Compassion founder Kristin Neff, Ph.D., will offer strategies for cultivating self-compassion, boosting happiness, and reducing stress in yourself and others.
Drawing on a decade of her trailblazing research, Dr. Neff will provide simple tools for giving ourselves the support we need whenever we suffer, fail, or feel inadequate.

Starting this month, join neuropsychologist and bestselling author Rick Hanson, Ph.D., for a yearlong course on the Foundations of Well-Being.
The online program uses research on neuroplasticity to help you hardwire more happiness, resilience, self-worth, and peace into your brain and your life.
The curriculum focuses on what Dr. Hanson calls the "12 pillars of well-being," including self-caring, mindfulness, gratitude, motivation, confidence, and more.

Meet our Goldberg Undergraduate Fellow

 This week, meet our 2014-2015 Goldberg Undergraduate Fellow Jeni Stiso. Stiso is a UC Berkeley sophomore studying cognitive science and molecular cell biology. She is currently a research assistant for the Knight Lab and is conducting research that explores the neurological basis of interpersonal distance and how to more effectively treat Social Anxiety Disorder.
