Member Update - February 2013

It's been a lively last few months at the GGSC -- hopefully you've seen our recent pieces about love, our Top 10 Insights of 2012
, and our hugely popular new Education page.

The excitement continues in the weeks ahead! Our inaugural Greater Good Conference, Practicing Mindfulness and Compassion, takes place on Friday, March 8, and members get a significant discount. Registration to attend in-person is almost full, but you can join us via our increasingly
popular webcast, from wherever you are.
We're delighted to launch our first-ever Summer Institute for Educators in July. If you're a teacher or school administrator -- or you know one -- who wants an immersive experience applying the latest research on social and emotional learning in the classroom,
this week-long course in Berkeley is for you.

Want to help support the tuition cost for a teacher to participate? A generous one-to-one challenge match is still in effect -- just renew or upgrade your membership and
enter the code "Institute" to have your impact doubled. On behalf of our freshman class of Greater Good Educators, thank you!
We now have a new membership benefit for our local Bay Area members: a Member Meet-Up. This volunteer-led forum lets the Greater Good community join in discussions and a series of playful, physical exercises, to learn and integrate GGSC principles. The next Meet-Up on March 20 in Berkeley at 7:30 p.m. will kick off our series of skill development programs. Please e-mail me if you'd like to join us. We would love to see independent Meet-Ups take wing in cities all around the country!

The GGSC is growing and thriving:  we have more website readers, more newsletter subscribers, and more supporting members than ever before. As a result, we're bringing the "science of a meaningful life" to more people than ever -- helping to foster well-being in communities everywhere.
Thank you for helping us bring Greater Good to the world!
