Temple Isaiah Volunteer Rewards Program
Temple Isaiah is launching an exciting rewards program for our volunteers sponsored by Cabot! Whenever you volunteer for Temple Isaiah, you can earn volunteer credits to win prizes and it's free!
To sign up click here. Once you login, find our organization,Temple Isaiah or Temple Isaiah Religious School, and log your hours. Then, share your volunteerism with your friends on social media to encourage them to volunteer. It's that easy!

Shabbat Playdate
Our final Shabbat Playdate will take place Saturday, August 27, at Meadowbrook Park (5001 Meadowbrook Ln, Ellicott City)! Join us on the playground from 10:00-11:30 for some Shabbat fun with other families with young children. We especially encourage TIRS families to come out and meet Rabbi Daniel Plotkin. We'll bring the snacks. No need to RSVP! Check our Facebook Page for any last-minute weather updates.
Grandparents Circle
This free 5-session course for Jewish grandparents whose adult children have intermarried will begin on Thursday, September 8. For more information click here. Contact [email protected] to sign up.
TIPS is looking for Bubbes & Zaydies
Are you a Bubbe, a Zayde or a Bubbe or Zayde wannabe? Are your grandchildren out of town? All grown up? Or do you just love being with young children?  Temple Isaiah Preschool is looking for volunteers interested in joining our Class Bubbe and Zayde program and our current "Class Bubbes". Our classes love their class Bubbes and we hope to have a volunteer Bubbe or Zayde for each class this year!  If you would be interested in spending some time each month with one of our preschool classes playing with, reading to and enjoying time with little ones please contact Amy at 301-498-4242 or [email protected] for more information or to sign up.
  
Also: Temple Isaiah Preschool is looking for substitute teachers.  If you are interested in being on our substitute list for occasional days when someone on our teaching staff needs to be out please contact Amy at 301-498-4242 or [email protected].  Substitutes always work alongside one of our regular staff members and are compensated for their time.
Meditation for Wholeness
The time prior to the High Holy Days, the month of Elul, is considered a time of reflection and action toward bringing in the new year. Capitalizing on this spiritual time of renewal, join Cindy Ward Sandler as she leads a meditation group focusing on the integration of mind, body and soul to create greater wholeness/shlemut
This free five week session will meet weekly at Temple Isaiah beginning on September 14.

September 18th - Sisterhood Brunch 11:15am - 1pm   (sanctuary) Please join us for brunch as we kick off another exciting year of TI Sisterhood. This event is free to all Sisterhood Members, so don't forget to renew your membership in advance or renew at the door.

Renaissance is hosting their first dinner of the year on Sunday, October 30 at 5:30pm. Isaiah's Gifts is closed for the rest of August. But not to worry!  Regular Wednesday hours will resume on Wednesday, September 7th from 11 to 1 and Sunday hours from 9am - 1pm on Sunday, September 11th.
