Graphic - what you should know about ozone and pollution

"Some good news: There were only FOUR "Code Orange" Days (when the air was unhealthy for sensitive groups of people) in 2013, an 80 percent improvement since 2012. There were no Code Red air quality days (when the air is unhealthy for everyone). The bad news: we're not in the clear yet.

April 28 marked the beginning of Ozone Season. The warmer temperatures of spring and summer bring a higher risk of ground level ozone (smog) and particle pollution. Children, seniors, those with asthma and pulmonary conditions, and individuals who frequently spend their time outdoors are likely to be especially vulnerable. Clean Air Partners is here to help with AirAlerts.

All the best,
Elenor Hodges
