Greetings!

Next Wednesday I will be on my way to Haiti again. Its been well over two months since I was there. Anxious to get back and see what's happening.

New Things

  1. I know the big news I will find when I get there is the 54th anniversary celebrations. Plans have been in place for some time for the activities. Now everybody is busy working out all the details for the celebration rallies, the special services, the fairs, and of course special programming.
  2. Another new thing is the new Port-au-Paix radio station. Ray Long and a WGM work team installed a new FM there last month and I understand it is on the air and doing well. First ever for Radio Lumière in the Northwest.
Goals For This Trip
  1. The Adopt a Home program. We have three work teams back to back who will be building a home for one of the workers at the station. Ohl United Methodist church has given the finances and now is sending church members down to build this house. The folks at Ohl have been faithful champions for Pat and me and the ministries of Radio Lumière for many years. So I couldn't miss this!
  2. Continue to work on the new web site with Edeline. It's coming, but slowly! Thanks for your prayers and keep praying that it will all come together.
  3. Consult with the administration and assist in any way I can with the celebration.
  4. Paint and fix up the computer room where we will be installing all the new servers for the digital audio, as well as those for the existing networking and for the streaming.
As always, prayer needed! Haiti is still the devil's stomping ground. Nothing comes easy.
  1. Personal safety for me and for the work teams.
  2. God's blessing and protection for the Radio Lumière equipment and team during this important time of celebration.
  3. Success in fund raising, that God's people will give generously for this great ministry. (This is the main Radio Lumière fund raiser for the year.)
Sincerely,
