Greetings!

A number of people have asked how we are coming on the electric bill crisis at Radio Lumière. Remember we had 3 bills for over $23,000 in December. God is good. So far $18,710 has come in, including the $10,000 I had when I wrote. We're almost there. Less than $5000 short to completely wipe out these bills and start over clean in 2013.

News From Haiti

 

Not a lot new from Haiti. Several including Director Varnel were on vacation over the New Years holiday. (In Haiti New Years is also Independence Day and is the big family holiday.)

 

They are already talking on the air about the annual 54th Anniversary celebration which will kick off here in a week or two. This is a very important event in the life of the network as it is the main giving thrust for the year.

These have been a busy several weeks for Pat with all the giving coming in at the end of the year.
  
I am struggling to get a new version of the RL web site up and running. Pray for wisdom. It's going slow and creativity is not my strong suit!
