Anne Krentz Organ Preparation

Many thanks to Julie Grindle and the 2013 Conference Planning Team for their fine work in preparation for the excellent conference we experienced this week at Valparaiso University. ALCM is at its best when we meet together to sing and pray, to share ideas and laugh and grow and become renewed for further service to the church. Even as we bask in the glow of this year's successful biennial conference, know that preparation for the 2015 conference is already underway!

I am thankful for the two years of preparation I experienced as president-elect of ALCM, time well spent as I listened and watched and learned from our president Lorraine Brugh. I am grateful to Lorraine for her faithful leadership, and grateful to ALCM for the carefully thought out system that allows time for transition.

How will you prepare for the upcoming program year? Might you take some time this summer to reflect on the bible texts for the fall? Is there a new resource you might explore for psalm singing? Are there some gems in your choral files that bear repeating? Is there a keyboard piece you have been itching to tackle? Are there new folks in your midst that could be encouraged to share their musical gifts?

May you enjoy this summer time of preparation,

Anne Krentz Organ

ALCM President
