Happy Spring!  We have had a busy and fun-filled spring season at Rainbow Days and hope you enjoy a few quick highlights of all of our happenings.

On April 25th, 2014, nearly 540 guests gathered at the Hilton Anatole for Rainbow Days 17th Annual Pot of Gold Luncheon, which raised over $180,000 in support of Rainbow Days programs and services.

Rainbow Days' positive and life-changing impact was made evident from the beginning when children's entertainer, Eddie Coker, and the children of Rainbow Days got everyone on their feet and dancing to Eddie's song "Say Hello!"  After this electrifying performance, guests enjoyed lunch while watching a video entitled "Summershine," which highlighted Rainbow Days' summer camps, and listening to remarks by Rainbow Days Founder & CEO, Cathey Brown.

Rainbow Days wishes to express gratitude to our presenting sponsor Nancy Ann & Ray Hunt, all of our generous Table Sponsors (list of 2014 Sponsors), media sponsor Park Cities News, Mary Kay for donating gift bags to all attendees, emcee Todd Whitthorne, musical talents of Judy Moore and Gil Pitts, Honorary Chair Clint McDonnough, our silent auction donors (list of 2014 silent auction donors), Rob Wythe for all of photography skills, and last but not least, our fantastic luncheon committee led by luncheon co-chairs Lisa Bys and Melissa Dyson, who were instrumental in making the luncheon a huge success.

Patron Reception
Cathey Brown with Mary Jo McKellar & Jessica Thorne
April 16, 2014 marked the date of Rainbow Days' Patron Reception, which recognizes those individuals, corporations and foundations who have committed to be a sponsors at the Pot of Gold Luncheon.  Guests snacked on delicious bites, listened to remarks by Rainbow Days' Founder & CEO Cathey Brown,  bid on selected auction items and were touched by remarks from the evening hostess, Jessica Thorne.  To set the wheels in motion, Don Krasen of Krystal Clear Audio-Video pledged to match all donations that night up to $2,500!  Rainbow Days would like to extend a special thank you to Jessica and Adam Thorne for opening up their beautiful home for the celebratory evening.
