Annual Legion Dues to Increase
At the 2006 National Convention in Salt Lake City,
Utah, it was voted to increase the National dues by
$4.50 This is the first increase National has had in
their dues since 1993. In 1993 the increase was
suppose to last for five (5) years but the increase
lasted for thirteen (13) years.
Post 184 members were notified by mail that an
increase in dues would be voted on at the regular
October meeting. The members & officers in
attendance voted to increase Post 184 dues to
$35.00 per year. this increase will go into effect on
December 29, 2006. You must have your dues to us
by the 24th if you want to avoid the additional
$10.00 increase.
A letter to all member will
be forthcoming on this subject and will go into how &
why details plus, options for older fixed income
members.
