SBDC introduces NEW program for transitioning Veterans

The Small Business Development Center just conducted its first two-day  "Operation Boots to Business" course with members transitioning out of the service at Goodfellow AFB. Operation Boots to Business is a two-day intensive workshop that exposes interested transitioning service members to business ownership/ entrepreneurship. It is conducted in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration and local military bases. We salute our transitioning military members and thank them for their service. We hope to assist them by conducting many more two-day courses at Goodfellow AFB this year.

Sincerely,

Dave Erickson

Entrepreneurial success begins in childhood. All it takes is an astute parent to mentor and guide the child to discover they can make money using their talents. Since my last Business Tips article, based on the book "Young Bucks, How to Raise a Future Millionaire" by Troy Dunn, I've been searching my memory bank for examples. I'll share those examples as well as explore some Dunn has identified.
