Let's be as upbeat as possible about what was once one of the world's great lighting shows. The move to the Excel Center didn't help the show, and 2015 is the last year it will be held there. Next year it moves back into
Kensington to the Olympia. PLASA has always been a great show for City Theatrical and we always enjoy a visit to the theatre capital of the world to see our friends and customers.
LDI 2015 was a large and vibrant show that felt like the best days of the entertainment industry. It was loud and crowded and filled wall to wall with lighting professionals from all over the world. The fun part is seeing our friends and colleagues in the lighting world. We held a raffle of all booth visitors and and gave away a pair of SHoW Baby 6, and the winner was Braden Hasselbeck of Cincy Lighting Services.
We launched a load of new products at LDI this year. Our new SHoW Baby 6 adds a 6th SHoW ID that gives users access to our Maximum Bandwidth Technology to avoid interference in the 2.4 Ghz spectrum. We also launched a full line of wireless LED event lighting from Core Lighting Ltd. of the U.K.
Every month we do dozens of custom projects for customers all over the world. Some are in entertainment lighting, some are in architectural lighting, and some are OEM development projects for other companies. Our designers and engineers find these projects our most interesting and challenging designs and they give us a chance to use all of our experience and knowledge. Call us with your challenges!
