Moving Light Assistant V1.2

Lighting designer Andrew Voller has released a new update of his industry leading Moving Light Assistant software.  Moving Light Assistant is an application designed to document both the physical setup and programming information for moving light rigs commonly used in the entertainment industry.   The list of users is growing every day!  See who's using Moving Light Assistant.

Boston Public Art

The large outdoor art project, entitled "As If It Were Already Here" was installed in Boston this spring.  CTI distributor ALPS of Randolph, MA installed a SHoW DMX Vero wireless DMX system to provide lighting control.  You can also see a great time lapse video of the installation here .  This article, used with permission of Arts Fuse, tells the story of the design and installation of this interesting project.

Custom Projects Of The Month

Yes, that top hat is a large one, but not the largest we have ever built.  These were for a large outdoor architectural lighting installation in NYC.  We do projects like this every day and we find them interesting and challenging.  Some are metal, some are electronics, and some are both.  All of them challenge us to use the sum total of our many years of experience to help meet the needs of lighting users.
