The History of ETC

Fred Foster gave the keynote address at ETC's CUE conference last week.   The story of ETC is the story of the theatre lighting industry over the last 40 years.  Fred describes how the company was started, how it grew, and the people who are its foundation.   This is a great story, so sit back and dedicate an hour to hearing how ETC changed our lighting world.

 We do lots of custom metalwork and custom electronics projects every month.  Sometimes we help designers overcome the challenges on their shows by making new beam control devices.   Other times we create architectural lighting accessories for designers or manufacturers.  All of these projects are fun and challenging for us, and they allow our customers to get products that can't be obtained anywhere else.
