UPSTATE UPDATE
In the month of May in Kent and New Castle Counties, home sales and prices were up from a year ago.
   Figures from Trend Multiple Listing Service showed the average sales price in New Castle County heading toward $220,000, with Kent seeing home prices rising above $200,000. 
   The average number of days homes were on the market fell by more than a week in New Castle to 24.5 days or less than half the figure for Kent County.

   Audrey is a native Delawarean who came to Active Adults Realty having worked for years in the hospitality industry and short term commercial leasing for Simon Malls. 
   In 1986, Audrey moved back to Delaware from Connecticut to be near the beach and her family. She, her husband Andy, and their daughters Alise and Ann chose Milford for its convenient Sussex County location. They are all beach lovers and enjoy outdoor activities... all that Southern Delaware is known for.

NON-PROFIT SPOTLIGHT: Sussex County Habitat for Humanity
Well, are you? We're ready for another Boomer Build with Sussex County's Habitat for Humanity. This year, SCHFH plans to serve 41 families through homeownership and home repair opportunities.
   Once again, we are looking for Boomers who want to share their gifts and talents on a Build Day in the fall.
   During our 2013 Build Day endeavor, we put together a full crew, had a great time at the build and we raised a considerable donation for SCHFH from our group of clients at the party!
  This year, we are happy to be doing it again. As the beneficiary of our 2016 Build Day and our annual fundraising effort, we are looking forward to making a huge difference in the life of a Sussex County Habitat Partner Family.
