Boomers Choosing Retirement by Lifestyle & Amenities
Did you know that even though we all have different sets of priorities, different ways of searching for the same goals, we all know what we'd like to do when we retire. We look for a lifestyle. A low maintenance home in a 55+ community or a home with amenities and people of like minds, i.e. golfers, bikers, fitness peeps or crafters. (That's probably why the Internet has had such a huge impact on the real estate industry!)
We make it easy for you to search by linking you to the different lifestyles popular with Boomers buying in Delaware right from our website's home page. You can search on our site and find all homes available for sale. Central Delaware: Smyrna, Delaware and the Love of Local Booze!
Our Agent Debbie Shearer shared this article that appeared online and in the News Journal about the Smyrna-Middletown area's new small craft brew, wine and spirit businesses. It's provides some great information about the town and the community in Snyrna. For those of you looking to be close to your family and friends in the Route 95 Corridor, Smyrna may be the place for you.
"Sandwiched between Dover and Middletown, Smyrna long struggled to attract economic development that would give the town a distinctive character. Now a mix of locally owned watering holes and restaurants are transforming Delaware's fifth-largest municipality into a sweet spot for anyone who loves adult beverages, good food and live music. New eateries, shows at the Smyrna Opera House and a homegrown music festival also are helping to re-make the bedroom community into a downstate nightlife destination." What are you looking for in retirement? Maybe Smyrna is for you? Read the entire article on our Blog at http://blog.activeadultsdelaware.com/2016/01/04/smyrna-delaware/
