CHARITY HIGHLIGHTS
Food Bank of Delaware Delaware Holiday Food Drives
Thanksgiving for All Food Drive hopes to make the holiday season bright for families in need this year. The Food Bank of Delaware is asking for the public's assistance in making sure that no Delawarean goes without a holiday meal this season.
In addition to hosting food drives, fundraisers are also a helpful way to collect much-needed funds to purchase food. Bank of America's Give A Meal campaign is an easy way to help support hunger-relief efforts in the First State. For every $1 donated, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation will give $2 more. Donations can be made at www.bankofamerica.com/give.

FEATURED BOOMERS
An article by Pam George in the October edition of Delaware Beach Life, titled, "Smart Moves" featured myself and Active Adults Realty clients, Tony and Maggi Gizzi who decided to downsize from a 19-room home in Riverton, NJ and move to Delaware.
The article relates their Delaware home buying experience, with Tony recalling, "We couldn't find anything we liked." All that changed when he performed with the Shrewsbury String Quartet at a Delaware beach wedding in September 2013 and then contacted Active Adults Realty.
The article goes on to talk about their return to the area and their search for new house and their move to Bay Crossing, a Lewes-area community for residents 55 and older. To read the article, Click Here.
