We are 19 days away! Have you saved your seats for The National Poetry SLAM! yet? Proceeds benefit America SCORES and help bring soccer and poetry to youth in low-income communities.
 
Luis is one of our 27 selected poet-athletes who is will join us this April. He likes writing poetry because it makes him feel good, and his favorite memory of his time in SCORES is when he scored his first goal.  When he isn't on the soccer field, he enjoys reading books by Rick Riordan. We're excited for him to meet his "teammates" from across the country and to showcase the nationwide scope of the America SCORES community. Learn the inspiring stories of our poet-athletes by following us every day as we count down to the April 8.
