Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

Minutes matter here at Murwood, so help us make every moment count by having your child to school on time for the whole day!  If possible, reserve trips and appointments until summer break so your child can get full instructional time and participate in all the great activities our teachers have planned.

Save the date for Open House on May 26:  Mr. Jones will host a musical performance on the lawn in front of school at 6:00 PM.  Classroom doors open at 6:30 until 7:30 PM.

Thank you,

Carol Nenni

Murwood Principal

From the Office

REMINDER:  This Friday, 15th May, is the last day to return your "Parent Input Form" to the office.  This form is intended to be used to describe the environment in which your child learns best.  Please remember it is NOT a forum to request your preferred teacher, and cannot be considered if the guidelines are not honored.  Protect your private comments by returning your form to the OFFICE in a sealed envelope marked "CONFIDENTIAL" by this Friday.  Late forms will not be accepted after May 15th.

If you are interested in submitting a Parent Input Form in consideration of class placement for the 2015-2016 school year, you may pick up a form in the office or print one directly from here.

From the PTA President

Dear Murwood Families,

As we are wrapping up this year, we are always looking ahead to next year.  With the district-wide boundary changes, we are expecting a large number of new families to join our community in the Fall, and we'd like your help in making them welcome.  You can help us by signing on to help at Welcome Back Day, signing up to be a Buddy Family, or just helping out at our first events of next year.  Please contact me ([email protected]) if you are interested.

Just a reminder, our last PTA meeting is next Tuesday, May 19, at 7 p.m.  We'd love to see you and your friends there to help us finish our business, vote on Collaborative Fundraising, and to confirm next year's Executive Board.

Finally, don't forget Track & Field Day is coming up fast. This event is a Murwood Tradition and it takes a large number of volunteers to run smoothly. Please sign up below.
