Principal's Message
|
Dear Parents,
Our fabulous PTA has been hard at work producing our first Murwood cookbook, filled with family recipes that represent our diverse heritage. Please look for your order form in the Wednesday envelope today and return your order on Thursday. We are having a cookbook release party Friday night in the MPR to celebrate our heritage, so please join us Friday night at 5:30 PM for our Multicultural Night. Diversity is what makes Murwood the best school in the universe and we hope you will join us Friday night, bring your family, and a dish special to your heritage to share. We'll supply the paper goods and drinks. Multicultural stories will be shared. Feel free to dress in traditional clothing! Sign up on this link to bring a dish.
Thank you and we look forward to another great community event! Thank you, Renee Brooks, for producing the cookbook, and to Andrea Slavet, Danielle Scheg, and Dana Neitz for organizing the gathering.
Thank you,
Carol Nenni

When you pick your child up in the afternoon, make sure you are checking with them that they have their jacket. Cool mornings and warm afternoons mean that we are already (one week post-break!) collecting jackets & sweatshirts that are discarded while playing at recess. If in doubt, it never hurts to just take a stroll past Lost & Found!

Dear Murwood families,
I hope you will all join us Friday for Multicultural Night. The event starts at 5:30 PM. If you're interested in bringing a dish to share, please see below for the link.
Also, next Tuesday's PTA meeting is very important. The Collaborative Fundraising Implementation Team will be with us to ask our association to formally adopt collaborative fundraising. We will also be meeting next year's slate of officers. The meeting is in the library at 7 PM.
Have a great week!
