REMINDERS

A few more reminders as we start off the school year:

-The drop-off time for students in the morning is 8:00am.  Please do not drop them off earlier, as there is no supervision for them.  If you need to drop your children off prior to 8:00am, please make arrangements with Keyspot for before school care.

-Please be mindful of our neighbours during drop off in the mornings and pick up in the afternoons...we do not want to block their driveways or the streets adjacent to Vanderslice.

NEWS FROM THE MURWOOD CAFETERIA

Welcome back Murwood Families.  The children who buy lunches are quickly learning or re-learning their lunch numbers.  It helps the line move quickly and gives every child plenty of time to eat if they know their number.   The price of lunches went up to $3.00 this year so please make sure your child comes with enough cash or check.  You can also put money in your child's account with a credit card at Paypams.com.

If your child buys lunch in the cafeteria, the lunch includes one entre from a choice of two, milk and fresh fruit and/or vegetables from the salad bar.  We also offer, everyday, the choice of pretzel with string cheese, bagel and cream cheese or yogurt with granola as our non meat alternatives.  These choices also include the salad bar and milk.

We do sell orange and apple juice, water, or milk for 50 cents.  We also sell 2nd lunches when available and if enough time is allowed to eat it before returning to class.  The cost of 2nd lunch is $3.00.  If you do not want you child to purchase any extras please email me and I will make a note on their account.
