"Listen! The wind is rising,
and the air is wild with leaves,
We have had our summer evenings,
now for October eves!"

Hyperbaric Oxygenation (HBOT)

HBOT is a therapy that can directly increase tissue oxygenation, restore the blood supply, and generate new capillary networks. We suggest HBOT to our patients to help the healing process of a sports injury, fibromyalgia, migraines, peripheral neuropathy, traumatic brain injury, and many other diseases and injuries. You simply lay in a chamber for a few hours, kick back and relax. Make an appointment with Dr. Hughes for a referral for HBOT.

Prolotherapy and Prolozone

The word prolo, short for proliferation, is a therapy intended to proliferate tissue growth.

Prolotherapy is an injection technique that has been shown to cause growth of cells and tissue to stabilize and strengthen weakened joints, cartilage, ligaments and tendons.

Prolozone therapy involves injected ozone into the tendon which increases the blood supply and flow of healing nutrients also stimulating the deposition and activity of fibroblasts and chondroblasts.

CranioSacral Therapy
Brain Health

Certain light-touches to the cranium can relieve stress and enhance brain function by lessening connective tissue strain. Reducing the stress, the brain cells are able to work at their optimal level and address sites throughout the body that are compromised. CranioSacral is showed to help with:
  • Chronic Pain
  • Neurodegenerative Disorders
  • Brain Inflammation
  • Spinal Column and Nerve Problems
  • Autonomic Nervous System Disorders
  • Eye Problems
  • Migraines

Dr. Hughes can administer this therapy using osteopathic techniques and Dave Nickamin can incorporate this into his massage therapy.

Nature Excursions

Many people find they spend a great deal of the time occupied by thoughts about the past or worrying about the future. Dr. Hughes finds it important to explore a calmer, more focused way of being by spending time in the wildness. Allowing the mind to settle into the direct experience from moment to moment can lead to a vividness of awareness which is often masked when the mind is preoccupied.

If you are interested in taking a hike or making some turns on the mountain with Dr. Hughes, let us know!

Remember!

We accept auto and workers compensation for Massage and Rolfing treatments!  Our therapists Adam and Dave Nickamin are happy to help.

We also have gift certificates for massage and rolfing!
