Why do we go? To listen, to learn, to pray with, to observe how we can more effectively accompany Haitians of Hispaniola in their rebuilding efforts - laid out in their August 19, 2010 priorities:

- Education(thru Fe Y Alegria - Foie et joie - Cristo Rey collaboration)
- Accompaniment of Displaced Person
- Social Centre to strengthen Civil Society
- Spirituality Centre
- Haitian-Dominican respectful relations

Port-au-Prince still has waterfront workers. Much has been rebuilt yet some live in temporary shelters.

This year, 2016, we (CLC Canada and CVX Haiti) are revisiting our Haitian sisters & brothers touched by these priorities to evaluate and plan together for the next five years.
WHEN: Depart early March 31 and return the afternoon of 7th April direct to Punta Cana, then by bus to Santo Domingo. Air contact Flight Centre.

OVERALL COST: in $CAD is about $1300/1400 CAD for air travel to Hispaniola and back, ground transportation, accommodation, meals, and tips. Personal spending is extra.
