CLC CANADA
IS LOOKING WITHIN ITS MEMBERSHIP
FOR A NATIONAL TREASURER

Role, Responsibilities and Skills of the Treasurer:

1) Maintain accurate books of account 2) Maintain, prepare and issue a financial statement for GC meetings.
3) Control the deposits and disbursement of funds 4) Issue, on behalf of CLC Canada, official income tax receipts (once a year) 5) Basic Computer Skills using simplified software programs "Excel" and "Donations" 6) Availability to attend through SKYPE (internet) bi-monthly meetings of General Council and a, once a year, face-to-face meeting. NOTE: 1) The CLC fiscal year begins on January 1 and ends on December 31. 2) General Council will determine its financial needs in each fiscal year to support the functions and operations of our National and Regional levels as well as our financial obligation to world CLC i.e. General Council determines the budget 3) The Treasurer will be solicited from within CLC and appointed as necessary 4) This is a 2 ½ year term volunteer position beginning Dec. 31th 2015.
