With September signaling "new" beginnings, here we are, similar to so many others in our World Community, planning for the year ahead while conscious of the need to balance time for work, family, social and CLC priorities. It was so supportive to hear that some CLC groups, remembering this upcoming GC meeting, have already been praying for us. Thank you!

You may be aware that the CLC Canada General Council has a similar role to play here in Canada as the role the World CLC Executive Council's (ExCo) holds in 
relation to the world community. Primarily, the GC role is to be attentive to the recommendations agreed upon by the delegates at the National Assembly held every five years and image and discern ways and means to fulfill the task...read more

The Atlantic Region celebrates St Ignatius Day with

Jesus never 'detached' himself from people.  
He never saw them as a nuisance.  
He noticed them.  
He went out to them in direct contact.  
His was a helping and healing presence.  
He accompanied them.  
In his day, there was no provision for compassion, pity or mercy.  There were no 'structures' at that time to carry this like we have today.  His was a world of apathy.  But Jesus responded to those around him with love, affection and care.  He to
