The Duke Talent Identification Program has identified six CISD seventh-grade students for their high scores on the ACT or SAT. These students qualified for State Recognition by scoring at or above the national average of high school juniors and seniors.

CISD Hosts Luncheon with Faith-based Partners

The Community Connections for Student Success Initiative hosted many of its faith-based partners on Thursday, May 16th, at the Bill R. Johnson Career & Technology Education Center.
The informative program, led by Dr. Dan Powell, Superintendent of Schools, featured a presentation of CISD and its many Points of Pride which can be viewed online here.
CISD and would like thank the district's faith-based partners, volunteers, Kids Hope USA mentors and prayer partners, community leaders, CISD Board of Trustees, principals and educators for attending the luncheon.
