TCC Crowley South Campus Center Grand Opening

Crowley ISD is proud to be home to the new Tarrant County College Crowley South Campus Center (TCC CSCC). The CSCC, which celebrated its Grand Opening on Monday, January 7th, occupies the second floor of CISD's Bill R. Johnson Career and Technology Education Center and is projected to serve 1,000 dual credit students and traditional academic transfer, workforce development, developmental education, and continuing education students.
CISD students played a big role in the Grand Opening, including involvement from the CISD JROTC Panther Battalion, a combined Crowley and North Crowley high schools ensemble, members of the Crowley High School Marching Band, and CISD students of all ages featured in a video entitled, "Tomorrow Starts Here" about how CISD is preparing them for college.

NCHS Coach Receives UIL Sponsor Excellence Award

Tommy Brakel, NCHS Head Men's Basketball Coach/Athletic Coordinator, is a recipient of the 2012 UIL Sponsor Excellence Award.
Coach Brakel's accomplishments during his 14 years at NCHS include:
- 14 straight playoff appearances
- 14 straight years with 20+ wins
- 14 straight years of being ranked
- Coaching the Panthers to a 5-A State Championship in 2007-2008
