Founded in 1998, ARM Group Inc. is a dynamic organization comprised of highly talented engineers and scientists whose primary mission is to provide the highest level of service and best value to its growing list of private and public sector clients.  With the 2010 addition of ARM Enertech Associates (AETA) and its 30+ electrical and mechanical engineers and automation specialists, ARM now has eight offices, over 130 employees, and is truly a one-stop shop for all engineering and consulting services in support of the oil and gas industry, the solid waste management industry, and a multitude of other commercial and industrial businesses.  ARM would like to thank all of its customers for helping put us on the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies list for 2012.

New ARM Office in Ohio newark office  

ARM now has an office location in Newark, Ohio to support the development of the Utica Shale Formation.  ARM has partnered with Jobes Henderson & Associates, a distinguished engineering firm with over 50 years of experience in Eastern Ohio.  This office location allows ARM to provide water resources engineering, geotechnical engineering, permitting, natural resources services, land development engineering, transportation engineering and surveying to the growing oil and gas industry in Ohio. ARM Wilkes-Barre Office Participated in the WPX Open House
Representatives from ARM's Wilkes-Barre Office participated in the October 13, 2012 WPX Energy Open House in Susquehanna County, PA.  ARM employees provided technical support by answering leaseholder questions pertaining to environmental and permitting topics.  ARM also donated refreshments for the event and distributed literature explaining the Marcellus Shale permitting process.  The Open House event was well-attended, with over 300 WPX leaseholders getting together for a great meal and entertainment.

ARM Awarded Design and CQA for Lanchester Landfill

ARM has been engaged  by the Chester County Solid Waste Authority to complete the final design, bidding phase, and construction-phase engineering services for the first three construction projects of the Lanchester Landfill Area E Expansion project.  ARM is presently performing Construction Quality Assurance and Resident Project Representative services on the second construction phase that will prepare for the ensuing mechanically stabilized earth berm and cell construction.[read more]     
Solar Integrated MSE Berm is Commissioned

Solar Array Installation
 
             Construction of the first-ever mechanically stabilized earth berm with an integrated solar energy system covering the exterior face was completed at the South Hadley Landfill in Massachusetts in June of this year.  ARM developed the patent-pending design and provided construction-phase engineering services for the 85-kW project, which will generate over 100,000 kWh/year of electricity. ARM Geophysics Completes Dam Safety Studies
ARM Geophysics supports Dam Seepage Investigations and Dam Safety Modification Studies with borehole and surface geophysical services.  Over the past 2 years, ARM has provided borehole and surface geophysical services on 10 separate projects in five states.

ARM has Nuclear Regulatory Commission reciprocity with various states across the mid-Atlantic and northeastern US, allowing ARM to offer a broader range of geophysical well logging and construction inspection services to our clients.  
Natural Resource and Cultural Resource Agency Permit Review Items.  Two major, positive changes in the Pennsylvania Habitat Diversity Inventory (PNDI) policy have been implemented, since the summer of 2012 to improve the review process; 1) the on-line environmental tool will accommodate linear projects up to 10 mile in length and area projects up to 1,200 acres; and 2) PNDI receipts and clearance letters by either of the state and federal agencies.  [read more]
