Peak Petroleum in Liquidation - Correction

NOGintelligence published a story, in Issue 29, on Peak Petroleum Industries and the appointment of a liquidator in relation to the application of Equator Exploration for the winding up of the company.  NOGintelligence failed to mention that since the court order for the appointment of a liquidator, the Court of Appeal has issued an order under which it has assumed exclusive jurisdiction over the matter. The order made by H.M. Ogunwumiju, Justice, Court of Appeal, states that Equator Energy is to "cease and desist from taking any further steps in the execution of any Order of any Court pending the determination of this application". We apologise unreservedly to Peak Industries for failing to include the existence of this order in our news story and for any distress caused by this omission.
