Together with International Mountain Guides, Inc and employees of Microsoft, 14 climbers are fundraising  for Washington's National Park Fund and our national parks this year.

More than $24,000 has been raised by these dedicated climbers so far. Collectively, they hope to raise $40,000.

2012 Annual Benefit & Auction
2012 Annual Event Thanks to Washington's National Park Fund's generous attendees, and item donors, our first annual auction was a huge success. The event raised more than $65,000 for youth programs in Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks' youth programs.

The overwhelming success of this event can be credited to SO many volunteers, donors and passionate park lovers.

Check out our photo collage of the event here

Keep an eye out for our Save the Date for next year's event, celebrating WNPF's 20th Anniversary!

Adopt-a-Trail-Mile
Rainier Meadow

Washington's National Park Fund is launching a special initiative this summer that fulfills two of our core priority areas:  improving visitors' experiences, and expanding the parks' volunteer and stewardship programs.

The new "Adopt-a-Trail-Mile Program" will raise much needed funding for Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.  With nearly 1,300 miles of trails to maintain, funds raised will be used to bring in more volunteer groups like Washington Conservation Corps, Washington Trails Association, and Student Conservation Association to name a few.  These crews, trained and supervised by park staff, will then work tirelessly to improve trails that are washed out/damaged during the long winter months.

For a gift of $25/month, your name will be added to the growing number of trail adopters.  Individuals, couples, families, and corporations are welcome to pitch in.  All gifts given are tax-deductible as Washington's National Park Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

For more information, contact Laurie Ward, Executive Director, or visit our Adopt-a-Trail-Mile webpage.
